Animal Healing Training Program

The Animal Healing Training Program focuses on the healing of domestic animals through the Touching Spirit Method, which integrates subtle energy medicine, intuitive communication and assessment, and the development of healing environments and treatment programs.  The building of trust and safety between animals and humans is a primary consideration. 

World-renowned healer and teacher Elizabeth K. Stratton, M.S, leads the Training as an independent study.  In addition to the Touching Spirit Method of healing, the curriculum includes animal psychology and behavior modification, anatomy and physiology, rescue and rehabilitation, and an introduction to holistic veterinary medicine. Demonstrations and field trips add to the rich, exciting and intensive curriculum. 

The Training is open to professionals and non-professionals, and may be entered at any point dependent upon your level of experience and training.  Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced Trainings are offered.  Graduates of the Training, with additional education, have gone on to careers in veterinary medicine, rehabilitation, and pet-assisted therapy.  Learning how to facilitate healing in personal pets is included in the curriculum.

Format: 12 independent study sessions of 90 minutes each, for each level of Training, arranged at the mutual convenience of student and instructor.

Elizabeth K. Stratton, M.S. is a pastoral counselor, healer and teacher in practice since 1976.  She is the Director of the Touching Spirit Center LLC in Litchfield, CT, where she maintains a private healing and counseling practice for adults and animals. Ms. Stratton is the author of two books on healing, Touching Spirit and Seeds of Light, and more than sixty guided healing meditations.
